Paddy McGuinness 'gets engaged to partner Christine Martin'

He may host a new dating show, but it does not seem as though Paddy McGuinness needs any help from an online dating agency or otherwise to find love.

The comedian, 36, is reportedly engaged to his girlfriend – 21-year-old former Miss Liverpool Christine Martin.

Despite the age gap between the pair, friends say they have been "seriously loved-up" since they started dating in 2008.

Speaking to the Sun, a source said: "'His career is going well and now he's getting married. It's turning out to be a great time."

After making a name for himself on Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere and Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights, Paddy has now turned his hand to presenting the new ITV show Take Me Out.

He attempts to find a partner for 30 single women and the programme has quickly proven to be very popular.
